My dad tells me that I teethed on this 100% whole grain bread while I was growing up. I guess it's no wonder that it remains one of my favorite breads even today. It's amazing how great a bread can taste when you let the natural wheat flavor shine through without adding any sugar. Despite having 4g of fiber per slice, this bread is very soft and moist and makes fabulous toast, sandwiches, and even French toast (I love adding a tiny bit of almond extract).

Originally, my grandpa called this bread "Double Bran" to reflect all the nutritious wheat bran that he used in it. We decided to change the name to "4g Fiber, No Added Sugar" to be more descriptive of the health benefits of eating this wonderful bread. Each slice has only 80 calories, 0 grams of sugar, and 4 grams of fiber.
